The overall picture is one of a market flat or slightly down. However, bright spots exist, and the market is not on the tragic downward spiral that gets reported in the news.

Residential sales prices show mixed results

Residential sales prices of single-family homes in King and Snohomish Counties are flat or slightly down compared to last year. King County's median sales price ended 2022 at $820,000, a 0.6% increase from December 2021. Snohomish County experienced a slight drop in median sales price from $703,000 in December 2021 to $684,995 in December 2022, a 2.6% decrease.
