Established in 1876 and incorporated in 1890, Edmonds is a beach town with a lot going on, from mountain views to shops to nature parks. Start with a stroll at Marina Beach and watch ferries depart Edmonds terminal as a gateway way to the Olympic Peninsula. Next, head up to the historic downtown for the stores, brew houses, coffee shops, and restaurants. Make sure to make a photo op out of the fountain in the roundabout on Main Street. Continue up the hillside and enjoy the nature parks and residential neighborhoods, but don’t forget to look out towards the Puget Sound to see the Olympic Mountains come into full glory as you move up the hillside. In addition to all the quaintness of a historic beachside town, the location includes easy access to I-5. You can easily access downtown Seattle or head north towards Bellingham or the Canadian border.
